Newcastle Building Society has expanded its executive leadership team, with the appointment of Amanda Shepherd as the Group’s Chief Operating Officer.

Amanda brings with her a wealth of experience in financial services. She was previously Chief Operating Officer at Hargreaves Lansdown, and before that spent 26 years at Barclays leading various retail, SME and operational services. She is now leading the operational support and technology functions across our Group.
