We will explain how to transfer an existing cash ISA held with Newcastle Building Society, to a new cash ISA with us. Whether you’re an online customer or a branch customer, the information below will help you with this.
I'm an online customer
To transfer an existing ISA held with Newcastle Building Society to a new cash ISA with us, you will first need to open your new ISA. Please visit our range of cash ISAs for more information.
At the start of your application journey, you will be asked how you would like to fund this account, please select ‘New investment’.
Once your application is complete and you have received confirmation by email that your account is open, you can transfer funds to your new account by following the steps below.
Step 1
Log in to your account, go to your new ISA, and select ‘Account Options’.
Step 3
From the ‘Make a Transaction’ screen, you can transfer money between any of your Newcastle Building Society accounts.
I'm a branch customer
If you have an existing ISA with us, which you opened in branch or by telephone and you wish to transfer to an online account with us, please call 0345 734 4345, where we will be happy to help you to transfer your ISA. Our lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am - 6pm. We are closed on bank holidays.
If you wish to transfer an existing ISA from one branch-based account to another, please visit your local branch.
