Our Hartlepool branch will undergo a full refurbishment this autumn, including the creation of a dedicated space for local charities and community groups. This is part of our ongoing multi-million pound investment into face-to-face financial services in the region.

The branch on York Road, Hartlepool, will close for around two months on Tuesday 10th September while the work takes place. To ensure members continue to have face-to-face access to financial services, a special ‘pop-up’ branch will open the following day on Wednesday 11th September directly opposite our branch location at the Community Hub Central.

When work is finished, customers will enjoy an enhanced, modern branch environment that provides even better access to services, information and advice, as well as improved meeting spaces to discuss personal financial planning.

The Hartlepool branch re-design will include a community room, providing local charities and community groups a free place to meet. We currently offer 15 community rooms across our network of branches, which are well-used for a range of activities and meetings including ‘knit and natter’, training and skills workshops, and even ukulele practice.

Check back soon for more information or speak to the Hartlepool branch team at their temporary new home at Community Hub Central, 124 York Road, Hartlepool.
