As a teenager, James sustained a life-altering brain injury and faced a gruelling recovery to regain independence alongside the challenge of rebuilding his self-confidence.
After being unemployed for nine years, with the support of Newcastle United Foundation’s Employability Team and the NU:Futures programme James has recently started as a COVID Testing Analyst, a role in the industry he always dreamt of working in but thought was beyond his reach!
