Savings rate changes following base rate reduction, August 2025

Following the Bank of England’s decision on 7th August to reduce the base rate of interest by 0.25% to 4.00%, we will be reducing interest rates across the majority of our range of variable rate savings accounts by 0.25%. These changes will come into effect on 4th September. Members with fixed rate savings accounts will see no changes to their interest rate. 

 Members with savings or mortgage accounts that are directly linked to the Bank of England base rate will see their rates change in accordance with their account terms and conditions. View the full list of variable rate savings products and interest rates
