Paul Astruc is a finance leader with a range of experience spanning three decades in the banking and building society sectors. He is currently serving as the interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Newcastle Building Society, where he leads the finance team. Before this role, he was the CFO at Nottingham Building Society for two years and remained on the board as an advisory Non-Executive Director for 12 months.
Prior to that, Paul worked as a Senior Executive at Lloyds Banking Group for nearly 9 years, and over six years as Group Financial Controller at AIB (UK) plc, following time at National Australia Bank as Head of Strategy and Investor Relations and the Co-operative Bank.
Paul is also a Board Trustee and Chair of Finance Committee at the Royal British Legion.
